Cocktail: Cosmopolitan Cocktail

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Serving Size: 1 drink

Ingredients: 

  • 1-ounce vodka or citron vodka
  • 1 ounce 100% cranberry juice (unsweetened)
  • ½ ounce Cointreau
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup
  • Lime wheel for garnish (optional)

Instructions: 

  • In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine vodka, cranberry juice, Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake for 15 seconds until the mixture is cold.
  • Strain the liquid into a martini glass.
  • Squeeze the lime wedge over the drink.

Garnish: 

  • Garnish with a lime wheel if desired.

Notes/Tips: 

  • 1 ounce equals 2 tablespoons. If using citron vodka, you may omit the lemon juice. If only sweetened cranberry juice is available, omit the simple syrup.

  • 1 oz. Hibiscus syrup

Ingredients: 

  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • ¾ oz. Cranberry-rosemary syrup
  • ½ oz. St. George spiced pear liqueur
  • 1 ¾ oz. Nosotros blanco tequila
  • 1 Rosemary sprig
  • 3 Cranberries

Instructions: 

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker.
  • Add ice, and shake until cold.
  • Strain over fresh ice in a Double Old-Fashioned glass.

Garnish: 

  • Garnish with rosemary sprigs and a cranberry sword.

Notes/Tips: 

  • For Cranberry-rosemary syrup: Combine cranberries, sugar, water, and rosemary sprig. Cook until sugar dissolves and cranberries break down. Cool, strain, and store in the refrigerator. ;

Mocktail: Strawberry Pina Colada

Ingredients: 

  • 8 oz. frozen strawberries in syrup
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 15 oz. can Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut
  • 15 oz. pineapple juice
  • 3 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup half and half

Instructions: 

  • In a blender, combine strawberries and water until smooth.
  • Place strawberries in a separate bowl and set aside.
  • Rinse the blender and combine Coco Lopez, pineapple juice, ice, and half and half; blend until smooth.
  • Add strawberries and mix lightly.

Cocktail: Wild Berry Energy

Ingredients: 

  • 2 large strawberries
  • 2 raspberries
  • 2 blackberries
  • 1/2-ounce simple syrup
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 2 ounces sparkling energy seltzer, Hiball

Instructions: 

  • Muddle strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add in lemon juice, gin, and simple syrup.
  • Shake with ice and strain into a glass filled with ice.
  • Top with Hiball Wild Berry Energy Seltzer.

Notes/Tips: 

  • Top the cocktail with about 2 ounces of water. You can also add blueberries. Recommended gins are Gray Whale or Hendricks.

Cocktail: Rose Gin and Tonic

  • 2 oz Glendalough Rose Gin
  • Tonic Water
  • Lime wedge
  • Mint sprig

Instructions: 

  • Add Rose Gin to an ice-filled wine glass.

  • Garnish with a slice of lime and a fresh sprig of mint.

Mocktail: Magenta Sky

Ingredients: 

  • 3/4-ounce Ghia Aperitivo
  • 1 1/2 ounces chilled hibiscus tea
  • 1-ounce lavender simple syrup
  • 1/2-ounce fresh lime juice
  • 2 dashes All The Bitter Orange bitters

Instructions: 

  • Brew a cup of hibiscus tea and place it in the refrigerator to chill.
  • Combine chilled tea, Ghia, lavender simple syrup, lime juice, and Orange bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.

Garnish: 

  • Lime wheel.

Notes/Tips: 

  • Lavender simple syrup can be homemade. Mix 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, and 4 tablespoons of dried lavender. Bring to a light simmer, then steep for 10 minutes—strain and store in the fridge.
  • For a purple colour, add blueberries or use food colouring (2 red:1 blue ratio).
  • An alcoholic alternative is using Amaro Nonino in place of Ghia.

Mocktail: Pomegranate Mojito

Ingredients: 

  • 3 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • Big bunch mint
  • 2 limes, quartered, plus slices for garnish

Instructions: 

  • A day ahead, divide the pomegranate seeds between the holes in an ice cube tray, add water and freeze.
  • Tear half the mint into a large jug with lime quarters—bash using a rolling pin.
  • Add pomegranate juice and lemonade.
  • Serve with ice cubes in each glass, strained pomegranate mix, lime slices, and more mint.

  • 12 mandarin orange segments (jarred)

  • 1/8 cup hibiscus flowers (dried)

  • In a pitcher, mix white grape juice and dried hibiscus flowers. Let it cold brew in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  • Strain the cold brew hibiscus grape juice before assembling.
