Here’s the inside scoop – Sharon was randomly picked as the winner of Destination Toronto’s Giveaway through Ignite Magazine. Coincidence? We think not! It’s as if the universe is giving a high-five to Sharon for her non-stop hard work and positive vibes. A big shoutout to Ignite for hosting the giveaway and being a strong player in the events industry!
Surprise Trip Details
Oh, did we not mention? Sharon won an amazing weekend getaway to the lively city of Toronto, complete with airfare and two nights’ accommodation for her and a guest. Toronto, get ready for the energetic force that is Sharon!

So, who exactly is Sharon Bonner? She’s the creative mind and the driving force behind Bright Ideas Event Agency, which she started back in 1988. As an award-winning Event Producer, Event Strategy Consultant, and Published Author, she’s been an innovator and a key figure in the industry.
On March 7, 2023, Sharon achieved yet another milestone by receiving the ‘Woman to Watch’ Award. This award spotlights event leaders who are making a significant impact on their community and those around them.
Finally, Sharon also launched her Event Consulting business (www.sharonbonnerconsulting.com) to help clients produce their own amazing events.
For Sharon, her career is not just about awards. In her words, her greatest accomplishment is “making a significant impact on an intern’s life that will forever change their direction in the event industry.” She commits to giving back to the community that has supported her.
