Gold Bar Gala Grand Opening

Bright Ideas was contracted by a local Vancouver Audio dealership to produce a high-end VIP Grand Opening event. This event needed to highlight the company’s 50th anniversary and showcase their new showroom. So, our team worked with this luxury car company to produce a world-class event as grand in stature as the automotive brand.

Dealership Grand Opening Event Theme

Creating an engaging, entertaining and interactive theme is always top of mind when a client chooses Bright Ideas to produce their event. But this important aspect is just the first step. Our client’s goal was to showcase their new showroom while celebrating the dealership’s 50th anniversary of luxury car sales. Therefore, we came together to brainstorm a theme that not only symbolized luxury but also resembled the world-class stature of the automotive brand. Thus, the ‘Gold Bar Gala’ was born! With the ‘Gold Bar Gala’, we created a dealership grand opening event that delivered in every respect.

Event Details

Upon arrival at the grand opening, guests were greeted with a unique LED red carpet and offered a welcome champagne drink by Golden Girls with giant gold wings. In the background, contortionists performed in front of a 20′ ice bar adorned with gorgeous white Phalaenopsis orchids.

The second and third floors of the event space held more surprises that carried on the ice and orchid theme. Highlights on the 2nd floor were a 50′ ice bar and a solid ice Audi R8 car made 50% to scale. The third floor was undoubtedly the crowd’s favourite. Many guests swarmed to the Bubble Tea stations and visited the world’s longest long dessert bar (102′ feet long – Guinness World Record pending).

Gold Bar Gala Success

Thanks to an incredible vendor and planning team, we achieved all of our client’s objectives and surpassed expectations with the ‘Gold Bar Gala’. The Bright Ideas creative and client-driven planning approach gave our clients the outstanding event they were seeking.

The event was not only visually stunning and a memorable experience for all of our guests, but it also surpassed our client’s expectations. As a result, it was named one of the best Audi dealership grand openings globally!
