New Website Launches with $1000 Prize Giveaway
It’s taken months. Planning, designing, implementing and testing. Making sure the final product showcased the same care and attention to detail that defines our approach to creating corporate events. Now it’s ready and we are proud to announce the official launch of the redesigned Bright Ideas Event Coordinators website! (visit new site)
Portfolio Provides Inspiration
We went with an easy-to-browse theme that sorts the stunning images from our Portfolio and highlights how our clients are using special events for team-building, client appreciation, and business development. We’ve made sure to include plenty of pictures – to inspire you the moment you arrive at our home page. The event descriptions set the scene, helping you visualize the perfect theme or other event type to meet your needs. We are sure you’ll find it’s a great resource for anyone seeking practical advice and useful guidance planning their next corporate special event.
Faster Answers and Easier Price Quotes
We’ve improved our FAQ for all the ‘Ask an Event Planner’ questions we answered in previous newsletters. It’s a great place to start building an RFP for your next event and an easy and efficient way to quickly browse the most common questions regarding planning and budgeting for a successful corporate event. We’ve also improved the quote request form. Even if you don’t know essential details such as the date of the event, you can still get started figuring out what’s the best way to utilize your budget.
Building Partnerships
Potential suppliers, volunteers, and those seeking a career in event production will find we haven’t forgotten the people who help us produce spectacular corporate events. New links and downloadable forms under the Contact Us tab streamline necessary paperwork, so we can concentrate on building effective business relationships.
Useful News
The Bright Ideas blog is another area of the new website you’ll find useful. We’ll be highlighting special events of note all around the Metro Vancouver area and beyond, sharing pictures and profiles of the events we produce, and posting news about special events and related subjects.
If you need to organize a great corporate event, the new Bright Ideas website is the place to visit for creativity galore. A smart investment in a great event can be an inspired business decision. Let us show you how to make it happen, whether you need our complete range of services, or need the seasoned guidance available through our event consultation services.

Ask an Event Planner
Giving You the Answers to Common Event Planning Questions
Why did you decide to redesign the website?
The old website was still working OK, but as our business grew and we added new sections, it was time to update the look so it was cohesive across the whole site. Our website is usually the first or second point of contact with a prospective client, so a highly professional, polished website is vital to our business.
What’s the biggest improvement?
I’m really proud of the portfolio section. Organizing the photographs by event type gives the site visitor an efficient way to narrow down the type of event they want to hold. We’ve provided over 28 examples of custom events for people to choose from, suitable for any corporate event, fundraiser, or private gala.
Why should people visit our new website?
The great prize we are offering to mark the launch of the new website should be reason enough! Besides planning for a corporate event, people should visit our blog on a regular basis so they can keep up-to-date on events around Metro Vancouver. I’ll be highlighting events with a Bright Ideas connection and other special community events and fundraisers in our area. Drop me a line if you have an event you’d like to publicize.
Staff Pick of the Month
Each month a member of the Bright Ideas team chooses their favourite event.
It is hard to just pick one event that is my favorite with Bright Ideas as all of the events that I have been involved with have been fast paced, energetic, hard work, and hugely enjoyable. However, the most memorable event has to be the Gardening Green Picnic.
It is a fantastic experience when a company after 50+ years of business continues to celebrate their success and rewards their staff and families with an annual event that Bright Ideas have been fortunate enough to be part of for 19 years!
The event was a green picnic with food and drink served in the gardens of the Brock House in Point Grey, Vancouver. It was one of those beautiful summer days in Vancouver, surrounded by water and mountains with a slight breeze coming off the water. The gardens were decorated with flowers in bright summer colors and stations were set up to give all the guests plenty to keep them busy for the afternoon. Guests were invited to decorate their baskets for the basket decorating competition. Kids and adults alike enjoyed getting their faces and bodies painted and loved decorating their own cupcakes.
It truly was a memorable and enjoyable experience and I am grateful to be part of the Bright Ideas family.
