Successful events start out with clearly defined objectives. They also measure the results. With budgets as tight as ever, you need to be able to support your decision to host a corporate event or conference with measurable outcomes showing a return on your event budget.
As we prepare for Canada Day next week on Wednesday, July 01, 2015 I am reflective of how proud I am to be a Canadian. Canada is a wonderful country to live in and better yet, a great country for a young girl to dream big. When I was in my early twenties, I dreamed of owning a successful Event Company where I would develop long standing relationships with my clients, producing multiple events for them annually. When world-famous artist Robert Bateman found time in his hectic schedule to attend the opening of the Westside Gallery in Vancouver, it was an opportunity the gallery owner couldn’t pass up. Their wedding day was designed to be “a magical, fun, and grandiose event to bring together all of their closest friends and family,” says Payal (bride). “We had guests from India, Denmark, Scotland, Hong Kong, China, the US Virgin Islands, and from all across the US & Canada.
They say if you can remember the Sixties, you weren’t really there. But for the guests at Feeling Groovy BBQ, their Summer Picnic was far-out fun that they are unlikely to forget.
The client hosts this annual themed event that lends itself to interaction that encourages mingling and socializing. She wanted a theme that would appeal to both the adults and children and be interactive and fun.
A unique western town was constructed where guests could roam throughout the town and socialize. The event space was divided into 3 decor zones, so that it was like having three events in one. Zone 1 offered Food & Beverages, Zone 2 hosted the Saloon (bar & gambling) & Zone 3 showcased
